Eye Exams for the Over 60s
An eye exam is an important health check. A thorough eye exam can find signs of illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure. As we grow older it becomes of particular importance to have a regular eye exam as many eye complaints are age related. Our exams for the over 60s include extra tests to check the health of ageing eyes. We have recently invested in new equipment that allows our optician to photograph the inside of your eyes. This process, known as retinal photography, helps us keep track of your eyes' health and monitor any changes. Tests like these also help us to check for conditions like glaucoma and age related macula degeneration which are more common in older people.
