Pentacam:
This gives detailed information about the surface of your cornea measuring its surface shape and thickness.
Pachymetry:
The Pachymeter is a tool to measure the central thickness of your cornea.
Slit Lamp Exam:
This is a very accurate microscopic used to examine your eyes structures in detail.
CustomVue Wavescan:
Identifies and measures lower and higher order aberrations in your eye 25 times more precisely than standard methods used for glasses and contact lenses.
Eye Dominance:
This determines which eye is more dominant than the other and has better focusing ability.
Visual Acuity Testing:
By using various wall charts with numbers and symbols our optician can measure your vision at near and far distances.
Pupillometry:
In darkness our pupils open up larger to let more light in and contract when in bright light. Pupillometry usemeasures the size of your pupils at these two extremes.
Cycloplegic Refraction:
By using drops to relax the muscles that control focussing our optician is able to determine your true prescription. This aids in assessing of the long term stability of your prescription.

As we all have one hand stronger than the other, this test looks at which eye is the stronger and has the most focusing ability.
